Karina and Chris wanted to get married at their local boozer which by chance is the magnificent Paradise by Way of Kensal green. From the pubs title you can gather this is no ‘run of the mill’ pub. The Paradise is a beautiful and unique venue with its boho vibe. The shabby chic interiors with strong colour palletes , decorated with mismatching bohemian decor featuring religious icons, hanging lanterns, wall murals and rustic mirrors add to the curious ambience. Its a venue where I have photographed several weddings and I never tire of the space.

Rosie and Dan’s summer celebrations is what I’d describe as a classic London pub wedding with a good old fashioned knees up. This wonderful relaxed and laid back couple held their wedding reception at The Peasant Clerkenwell London and their ceremony at Islington Town Hall. Having signed the register everyone boarded a Routemaster bus for the short journey across London. The Peasant is an old school pub with beautiful decor including a mosaic tiled floor, a funky downstairs bar space and loads of classic band and film posters.

The South Place Hotel was the ideal venue for James and Kate's chic and very London Wedding. This boutique, luxurious, contemporary hotel is located in the 'Square mile' and straddles that fine line between the 'City' and Shoreditch. James and the boys had spent the night before in the nearby Brick Lane and how could I resist photographing the groom against the gritty streets of E1. Returning to the hotel to capture the final stages of hair and makeup and to document the intimate exchange of vows.

Sally and Simon's Autumn wedding took place bang in the middle of the City of London at The Happenstance bar and restaurant, just around the corner from the iconic Paternoster Square. The dictionary definition of Happenstance is 'A chance situation, especially one producing a good result'. An apt description because the bride and groom's London wedding was certainly a great result. Both spent the morning getting ready at the beautiful Grange Hotel just a short walk from The Happenstance.

There was very little that was traditional about Laura-Jane and Jack's wedding. Both very much North Londoners, LJ and Jack were inspired by the music they love, the locality where they live, clubs and shops they frequent and the location of their first date!! So they both not only wanted to get married locally but to have photographs that reflected this part of the capital.
