There is something wonderful about small weddings and their day was beautifully intimate. The grand Orleans House Gallery, in southwest London never fails to disappoint and is a fantastic backdrop for photographs. Jemma and Jamie’s wedding ceremony at The Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich was simply stunning. The venue looks like a set from a period drama and the chapel is wonderfully atmospheric with its neo-classical interior, carved gold ceiling and huge altarpiece. And the maritime theme was continued, as their reception was held a short boat ride down the Thames at the equally atmospheric industrial venue of The Chainstore at Trinity Buoy Wharf in East London. Just a perfect summer's day.

Rosie and Dan’s summer celebrations is what I’d describe as a classic London pub wedding with a good old fashioned knees up. This wonderful relaxed and laid back couple held their wedding reception at The Peasant Clerkenwell London and their ceremony at Islington Town Hall. Having signed the register everyone boarded a Routemaster bus for the short journey across London. The Peasant is an old school pub with beautiful decor including a mosaic tiled floor, a funky downstairs bar space and loads of classic band and film posters.

The South Place Hotel was the ideal venue for James and Kate's chic and very London Wedding. This boutique, luxurious, contemporary hotel is located in the 'Square mile' and straddles that fine line between the 'City' and Shoreditch. James and the boys had spent the night before in the nearby Brick Lane and how could I resist photographing the groom against the gritty streets of E1. Returning to the hotel to capture the final stages of hair and makeup and to document the intimate exchange of vows.

An apt description because the bride and groom's London wedding was certainly a great result. Both spent the morning getting ready at the beautiful Grange Hotel just a short walk from The Happenstance.
