Helen and James celebrated their seaside wedding in the picturesque town of Lyme Regis, Dorset. The theme of theatre and acting ran throughout the day, reflecting Helen and James' shared passion for the arts. From the decor to the entertainment, every detail was thoughtfully chosen to create an atmosphere that was both elegant and playful.

There is something wonderful about small weddings and their day was beautifully intimate. The grand Orleans House Gallery, in southwest London never fails to disappoint and is a fantastic backdrop for photographs. Recently refurbished with an ornate colourful high ceiling, vast windows and chequerboard flooring - it is the perfect place to say ‘I do’.

Jemma and Jamie’s wedding ceremony at The Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich was simply stunning. The venue looks like a set from a period drama and the chapel is wonderfully atmospheric with its neo-classical interior, carved gold ceiling and huge altarpiece. And the maritime theme was continued, as their reception was held a short boat ride down the Thames at the equally atmospheric industrial venue of The Chainstore at Trinity Buoy Wharf in East London. Just a perfect summer's day.

Karina and Chris wanted to get married at their local boozer which by chance is the magnificent Paradise by Way of Kensal green. From the pubs title you can gather this is no ‘run of the mill’ pub. The Paradise is a beautiful and unique venue with its boho vibe. The shabby chic interiors with strong colour palletes , decorated with mismatching bohemian decor featuring religious icons, hanging lanterns, wall murals and rustic mirrors add to the curious ambience. Its a venue where I have photographed several weddings and I never tire of the space.

Northbrook Park is one of my favourite Surrey wedding venues. The 18th century manor house is set in its own beautiful grounds and the estate features a wonderful Orangery, The Vine Room and a picturesque walled garden with roaming peacocks. From a photographic point of view it has fantastic natural light in all the main rooms, everything is self contained and the idilic location has endless spots for perfect photographs.

Rosie and Dan’s summer celebrations is what I’d describe as a classic London pub wedding with a good old fashioned knees up. This wonderful relaxed and laid back couple held their wedding reception at The Peasant Clerkenwell London and their ceremony at Islington Town Hall. Having signed the register everyone boarded a Routemaster bus for the short journey across London. The Peasant is an old school pub with beautiful decor including a mosaic tiled floor, a funky downstairs bar space and loads of classic band and film posters.

My last wedding of 2019 took me back to one of my favourite wedding Surrey venues, to photograph the lovely Nikki and Lee. There was a real Christmas feel to the day with beautiful floral decorations by Elspeth from Blume Studio, festive twinkly lights, baubles and the obligatory Christmas tree. The ceremony was relatively late at 3, so we just had time to shoot some couple portraits around the grounds and in the surrounding country lanes before sunset.

One of my favourite wedding venues in Sussex has to be Hawthbush Farm. Returning to photograph Bird’s and Alex’s chilled out festival styled wedding was a real joy. The first ceremony of the day was an intimate affair for close family and the wedding party. Held in the drop dead gorgeous , The Chantry, a tiny tin clad old chapel with a white bright interior. We then made our way to Hawthbush Farm for a second ceremony outside in a woodland clearing. It doesn’t get any more romantic.
