Jurassic Oxfordshire wedding with golden pineapples and dinosaurs
Sarah and James tied the knot in the summer at Friars Court. They instantly fell in love with the historic Oxfordshire venue, a beautiful 17th-century stone farmhouse with gorgeous gardens surrounded by a moat. The cotswold house has stood for over 300 years, and buildings have been on the site since 1149. The venue not only has a homely feel but offered the opportunity for the bride and groom to place their personal stamp on their wedding day. It's worth looking at the photos of the decor in the marquee to see Sarah's amazing personalised styling with golden Pineapples, dinosaurs and a splattering of 'Airfix ' model soldiers. Brilliant !!
They had always wanted to get married outside and the Rose Arbour was the perfect spot for an outdoor ceremony. Friars Court has so many great spots for photography and I found time with the bride and groom to quickly catch some portraits against the typical cotswold farm buildings. The rain held off and all went to plan including a 'drive in' style viewing on the lawns of the movie Jurassic Park. Pop corn was included !!
